Jogging builds confidence. It allows the jogger to improve himself trial after trial, growing stronger after each jog and becoming more sure of himself with each foot strike. Jogging relieves stress. Jogging allows one to either think about the problems of daily living or escape them for a while as he flies over the distance while jogging. Without actually realizing it, the tension accumulated throughout the day disappears as you focus your attention to the distance ahead.
Jogging improves attitude. Studies had shown that jogging outside, especially on trails, releases endorphins that can cause a runner’s high (euphoria) or a simple sense of happiness when you actually covered your target distance
Jogging helps train the mind in the same way that it trains the body. By overcoming the obstacle of distance and fatigue, you will also learn to develop your focus and determination on other things that matter. The will and determination that you used to overcome the challenge of distance will strengthen your mind and gives you the same determination and focus to the other areas of your life.
